I made this handmade card of a woman named West Kensington Marigold. She wears a knitted blouse with a zig-zag pattern in cosy autumn colours, full of texture and warmth. Her large orange hat and bright orange hair bring the whole look together, while the word “MUM” in the corner adds a sweet, loving touch.

Her Story

Marigold is the heart of her home, always knitting soft, warm clothes for her family scarves, mittens, jumpers, and little blankets that feel like a hug in yarn form. Her house is constantly filled with the comforting smell of something baking, whether it’s fresh bread, cinnamon rolls, or her famous lemon loaf cooling on the counter.
