Happy Mother’s Day

Happy Mother's Day

A mother is like a flower, each one beautiful and unique.

Mother's Day is a very special day for all the mothers around the world, as it is a day where we give thanks to those special women in our lives. This can mean your own mother, grandmother, aunt, mother-in-law, family friend, new mom, etc.

Originating back to the 16th century, this day use to be called Mothering Sunday. It was the fourth Sunday in Lent where everyone would go to their "mother church." This merged with the Anna Jarvis memorial for mothers in the United States in the 20th century created the day we now know and love called Mother's Day.

Every mother has her own special spark and a beautiful individuality to be celebrated. With Mother’s Day coming up, now is the perfect time to tell a mother in your life what it is that makes her so special! Just as all mothers are unique, my greeting cards are all one-of-a-kind and each one full of personality, so perhaps you can find one that makes you think of a certain mom in your life and write to them to tell them what it is about them that stands out.

Z Sarah Super Marigold

Does she remind you of sunshine? and warmth?

Z Audrie Adorable Accra

Is she as sweet as a song?

Avery Oak

Perhaps the word “sparkling” comes to mind when you think of her.

Z Kew Garden Queen

Is she nurturing?

Daisy’s Drink

Does she make every day a celebration?

Zamber Appleby

Maybe she reminds you of the calm of the sea, the magic of the night sky, or the depth of either.

Valentine Pyjamas Cookie

Does she make you think of love? Of grace? Does she give the best hugs?

It is impossible to capture all that a mother is in one word of phrase, but that is the beauty of mothers; how they can be so many things and do so much. This Mother’s Day, tell the mothers in your life some of the many reasons they are so special and help them to see their beauty as you see it!

What is a word you would use to describe a special mother in your life?
